LOCATION
Inverinate is an excellent base to explore the Highlands and Islands region, many areas of interest lie within easy reach. Situated on the main road (A 87) from Inverness to Skye, it is two miles south of Eilean Donan Castle. The nearest train station is in Kyle of Lochalsh 10 miles north. Buses from Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh stop in Inverinate on their way to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye.

From Inverness & Fort William
Take the A82 until the junction for Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye Bridge (A887) A87. Continue along this road for around 30 miles until you enter Inverinate. Sonas is the first house on the right after the petrol station.
From Skye & Kyle of Lochalsh
Continue along the A87 Past Eilean Donan Castle. Two miles further on you arrive in Inverinate. Sonas is situated on your left before the petrol station.
